The Women in Ministry luncheon honored the first women ordained among people of color.  Rosemary McCombs Maxey was recognized as the first American Indian woman ordained in the UCC.

CAIM sponsored and lead a workshop on Land Tenure: Ownership and Use.  Toni Buffalo moderated the workshop.

The CAIM booth is a “must see” happening place in the Exhibit Hall of General Synod.  Winifred and Jerry Boub and Judith Andrews made good use of their time visiting with people and selling crafts made by American Indians.

For the CAIM family, making friends and relations is all a part of the gift of General Synod.
